Bilingual Cleaning Supervisor – Houston, TX
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Bilingual Cleaning Supervisor (English/Spanish) to oversee our janitorial crews and ensure consistent, high-quality cleaning services at commercial client locations throughout the Houston area.
The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supporting cleaning staff, conducting quality inspections, training employees, maintaining cleaning standards, addressing client concerns, and ensuring all assigned facilities are properly staffed and serviced.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with commercial cleaning experience, strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both employees and clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate, and support janitorial employees at assigned client locations
- Ensure all cleaning services are completed according to company standards and client specifications
- Conduct regular inspections and quality-control checks
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures, equipment, safety requirements, and company standards
- Assign daily duties and monitor employee performance
- Manage employee attendance, schedules, call-outs, and coverage when needed
- Communicate with cleaning crews in English and Spanish
- Maintain professional communication with clients and promptly address service issues or special requests
- Monitor cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and inventory
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment
- Verify that restrooms, floors, common areas, offices, and other assigned spaces meet required cleanliness standards
- Identify maintenance, safety, or facility issues and report them to management
- Prepare inspection reports, service reports, and other required documentation
- Ensure employees follow company safety policies and proper chemical-handling procedures
- Assist the cleaning crew when necessary to ensure the job is completed correctly and on schedule
- Secure client facilities according to established procedures after services are completed
Qualifications

Fluent or conversational English and Spanish required
- Minimum 1 years of commercial janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Previous supervisory, team-lead, or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to train, motivate, and hold employees accountable
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems quickly
- Experience using commercial cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel between client locations in the Houston area
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends when required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties when necessary
- Authorized to work in the United States

We are looking for a supervisor who takes ownership of their assigned accounts, maintains high cleaning standards, develops strong cleaning teams, and represents the company professionally with our clients.
This is a hands-on supervisory position. The successful candidate will not only manage the team but will also step in and assist when necessary to ensure our clients receive reliable and consistent service.
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
